Well, here we are at my great nephew's wedding reception...a great band is playing....no one is dancing except Randy and I...."Doesn't that woman look like Connie K from Lexington?" Then we're grabbed by old friends who are heading back to Topeka. As we say our good-byes and hug family members, we're distracted and forget to 'get a closer look' at the Connie-look-alike! What can I say....We're just oooold with memories like steel sieves and baaad eyesight:)
Can't believe we were five feet away and didn't get to visit:( What has it been? 20 years! Or more? Can't possibly have been that long!
On our long drive back to Cape Girardeau, I called my nephew and asked him to PLEASE let the band know how much we enjoyed them! He calls back and I discover that Connie and Robin must be ooooold, too:)
Sure would've enjoyed visiting with ya'll and meeting Chris and Becka. Email me and we'll try to catch you when you're in St. Louis or somewhere. Talk atcha, later! Janelle Tingle

Your music brings back fond memories of my Grandfather. I learned to play the spoons from him to these kinds of songs. He used to tape two spoons together with a block of wood because my hands were too little. (I was only 6 yrs old) Bet he was smiling down on me and having a good laugh that I still play them. Can't wait to catch another live show and will do what I can to promote you music. Thanks again for letting me sit in.
